வாங்க சாப்பிடலாம்....வடிவேலு குஷி!

ஞாயிற்று கிழமை தி.நகர் பக்கம் வந்தவர்களுக்கு அதிர்ச்சி மேல் அதிர்ச்சி கிட்டியிருக்கும். வடிவேலு கும்பிடுகிற மாதிரி பேனர்களுடன் ஏராளமான வரவேற்பு வளைவுகள். ஏதாவது கட்சி...கிட்சி...? மக்கள் மத்தியில் இப்படி ஒரு குழப்பம் நிலவக்கூடாது என்பதாலேயே மிக தெளிவாக அதில் குறிப்பு வரைந்திருந்தார்கள். என்னவென்று? “வாங்க சாப்பிடலாம் ஓட்டல் திறக்க வருகை தரும் எங்கள் வைகைப்புயலே வருக வருக...” என்று!

காலை எட்டு மணிக்கு ஷார்ப்பாக காரை விட்டு இறங்கிய வடிவேலு முகத்தில் எக்கச்சக்க உற்சாகம். கிச்சன் எங்கேண்ணே? அட இதுதான் எண்ணை சட்டியா? என்ற ரேஞ்சில் ஒவ்வொரு ஏரியாவிலேயும் புகுந்து புறப்பட்டார். தலைவாழை இலைபோட்டு முதல் விருந்தும் அவருக்குதான். “அடடடா... என்னா ருசி? என்னா ருசி?” சாம்பாரை உள்ளங்கையில் வாங்கி சர்ரென்று உறிஞ்சியவர், “ஆமா... இப்படி எல்லாரையும் வயிறு பெருக்க வைக்கணும்னே சமையல் எக்ஸ்பர்ட்டுகளை கூட்டியாந்திட்டீங்களா?” என்றார் ஓட்டல் உரிமையாளர் ஆர்.கேவிடம். அழகர் மலை படத்தின் ஹீரோதான் இந்த ஆர்.கே.

பின்னர் முதல் மாடியில் அமைந்திருக்கும் ஸ்னூக்கர் விளையாட்டு மேசைக்கு வந்தவர், பச்சை புல்வெளியை அப்படியே நட்டு வச்ச மாதிரி செஞ்சிருக்காங்களேய்யா...ன்னு ஆச்சர்யப்பட்டார். நமக்கெல்லாம் கில்லி விளையாட்டு அத்துப்படிங்க. இங்கே என்னவோ குச்சியெல்லாம் வச்சிருக்காய்ங்களே, தட்டி பார்ப்போம் என்றபடி பந்துகளை ஓங்கி அடிக்க, மேசைக்கு வெளியேவும் தாவி குதித்து ஓடின காய்கள்! பின்னர் ஜிம்முக்குள் நுழைந்தார் வடிவேலு. அட, ங்க பாருய்யா... ஒடுறதாம்ல இது? என்றபடியே டிரெட்மில்லில் ஏறி மூச்சிரைக்க ஓரு ஓட்டம் போட்டார்.

கிட்டதட்ட ஒரு மணிநேரம் அங்கேயே உலாத்திக் கொண்டிருந்த வடிவேலு, போறத்துக்கே மனசில்லேண்ணே... நீங்க இன்னும் நிறைய பிராஞ்சு தெறந்து ஓஹோன்னு வரணும் என்று ஆர்.கேவுக்கு வாழ்த்து சொல்லிவிட்டு கிளம்பினார்.

“உங்க அம்மா சமைச்சு கொடுத்தா எப்படி ஒரு ருசியும், அன்பும் அதிலே இருக்குமோ? அது இங்கே கிடைக்கும்ணே. வாங்க சாப்பிடலாம்” என்று அழைத்தார் ஆர்.கே. வெளியே வரும்போது நமக்கும் தோன்றியது.

On the basis of their opinion we improve the quality and taste of various food items. For me acting and business are like my two eyes.
